Physical Therapist

Requirements

To take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE), the candidate can sit in any of the 300 centers in the United States only, but the center chosen does not need to be in the state of destination.

Upon completion of the NPTE and fulfillment of other board requirements such as English language tests like TOEFL, a license will be awarded allowing the applicant to practice in that state only. Requirements vary from state to state, so a proper evaluation of your credential and capabilities would determine your destination state.

There are no uniform licensure or continuing competence requirements among the states. So, International Medical Agency will select the state where an employer-sponsor has been found and the state requirements are the most accessible.

See www.wfot.org Educational Programs to make sure your educational school is recognized or send us your transcripts to see if your educational background could satisfy the requirements.
